I love my huge harvest basket, it holds so much! I crammed 6 squash and 7 cucumbers in there with plenty of room to spare.
I neglected to harvest my summer squash and pickling cucumbers last week due to the holiday, so there were quite a few waiting for me. I also grabbed some carrots to add to the chicken stock I am making today. Only 2 tomatoes so far, it doesn’t help that my chickens helped themselves to 20 of the green tomatoes on the vine… Is it just a coincidence I happen to be making chicken stock? ?
