We are in the process of transitioning from bantam chickens to brahmas. I love the bantams, they’re so quirky and since we have Easter eggers I get a happy rainbow of colors every time I open our egg carton. However, we decided it’s more prudent to have large breed chickens that can be used for both eggs and meat.

I used our bantam eggs to make these cookies, which means instead of two regular size eggs I need to use four of the bantam size, which isn’t very efficient in the long term.

This is also the first time our little guy got a taste of scratch made chocolate chip cookies! ??

I like to add orange extract, cinnamon and craisins to my chocolate chip cookies, do you have a favorite way to make yours?
