I harvested our purple lady and baby bok choy last night and made wontons with it. I can’t get over how cute the little baby bok choy is. ☺️
I chopped up the bok choy, cooked it in boiling water for a couple minutes and then squeezed all the water out when it was cool. I then added ground chicken, chopped onion, soy sauce, salt and pepper and mixed it all together. I didn’t use a specific recipe, I’ll be sure to write it down next time.
It has been several years since I last made wontons. It takes longer than the usual prep for dinner, but it’s definitely worth it. I plan on making a bunch of wontons soon and then freezing them for use when I need them.
I used half homemade chicken stock and half store bought.
