Orange Thyme Tear & Share Turkey:
4c bread flour
4 1/2 tsp instant dry yeast (or 2 packets)
2 Tbsp honey
Zest of 1 large orange
3 tsp dried thyme
2 tsp salt (I use 3 tsp if I use kosher salt)
2 Tbsp olive or vegetable oil
About 2c water, add 1.5c to start and adjust if needed

Additional Ingredients:
?1 egg + 1Tbsp of water whisked up for egg wash

?2 cloves or something else of your choice for eyes which is placed after the bread is done cooling.

I cut a 1/4 circle wedge to make the body of the turkey and then form the rest of the parts from the remaining dough. I made 6 large and 5 small feathers. I shaped the feathers by rolling the dough into logs and then rolled one end smaller to make a cone shape. Make 2 wings, a wattle, and a beak as well. For the feet I made 2 small circles and then made 2 cuts to make the toes and then separated them out.

I set the beak and wattle off to the side of the cookie sheet and placed them on after.

Egg wash the turkey and additional parts.

Bake at 350 and remove the wattle and beak after about 15 minutes. Bake the rest for another 15-25 minutes.
