We hatched out several brahma chicks from our birds. I used it as a teaching opportunity for the life cycle of a chicken. We were able to mark off the days of incubation, make educated guesses on the color of the chicks after they hatched by looking at their parents, and learning about the parts of an egg and chick, among other things. They really had a lot of fun. I also used it as an opportunity to get a cliche Easter picture. ??
