Bush cucumbers are pretty awesome because they take up less space in the garden-no trellis needed! They are also a popular choice for container gardens, the only drawback being that they do produce less fruit than their viney cousins. However, this may be considered a bonus if you feel like you’re drowning in a never-ending supply of cucumbers every year! 🤪
When they do party, they party hard, producing their fruit all at once-which is great for when you want to make pickles! 🥒
This is a great crop for succession planting if you’d like to have fresh cucumbers in batches throughout the growing season.
